Rev. Timothy W. Rodgers ABD, M.A.
1st Vice President
He retired as Chief Academic Officer and a tenured Assistant Professor of the Liberal Arts from The
College of New Rochelle in New York. He is gifted with strategically growing organizations, utilizing
talent, and focusing on outcomes. Much of his effort will be relegated to rightsizing the association’s
trajectory to 1000 members for our 100th Birthday in 2033. Rev. Timothy Rodgers’ methodology to his
duties is always calculated and deliberate while encompassing the Joy of Jesus which is deeply rooted in
family tradition. Positions currently held by Rev. Timothy Rodgers include being a 2nd generation
Ordained Minister, Sunday School Superintendent, and Minster of Music at the Tabernacle Community
CME Church of St. Albans Queens. He also serves as 1st Vice President of the New Hempstead
Democratic Club in New York, which services over 60, 000 residents. Rev. Timothy Rodgers is the 6th
generation born from the Emma Fox and Simon Leverett union.

Carolyn Gordon
2nd Vice President
Carolyn attended Lucy C. Laney High School, in Augusta, GA. where she was a cheerleader in high school and the first Black Woman to ever compete in the Miss Exchange Fair Club in Augusta.
After graduating,Carolyn became the first Black Women Engineer at John P. King Mill.
Throughout Carolyn’s career, she has amassed numerous leadership certificates, served as Executive Chief Steward at Walter Reed Hospital in Washington, D.C, and opened her own daycare in Fort Bliss,Texas.
After Carolyn’s husband retired, they returned to Georgia, Carolyn continued to run her own daycare and worked with Gwinnett County School Systems with the Special Needs Population prior to her own retirement.
After 35 years of marriage and raising five children, two of her deceased sister’s grandchildren, and being blessed with eleven grandchildren and one great-grandchild, God decided to call her Beloved
Bryan home after a courageous battle with cancer. Carolyn’s strong belief in God has kept her this far as
she and her twin brother Calvin are also the last surviving siblings of six. The motto Carolyn lives’ by is
“God is Real,” and Carolyn tries to spread this message in, her daily life.
